CVSA will hold its first Regional COHMED Training Course at the Colorado State Patrol Training Academy in Golden, Colorado, on Aug. 29-30, 2017.
The focus of the training will be Class 3 (flammable and combustible) hazardous materials. The course is an advanced course, which builds on the general hazardous materials, other bulk packagings and cargo tank inspection courses inspectors have already completed.
This class is the first of four that will be offered regionally around the country. The next class will be held in Albany, New York. Those dates will be announced when finalized. Two additional classes will be held in fiscal 2018. One class will be held in the southeast; the other in the central or south-central part of the country.
